We began a new sermon series on Sunday. We'll be looking at the Power of Testimony for the next few weeks. The most obvious testimony that you and I are familiar with is that of evidence. The testimony of a changed life speaks volumes! It amazes me in John 4:39 how the very people that believe in Jesus are the ones that most Jewish people, the disciples included, would have ordinarily avoided. Jesus proves that the gospel is intended for every tribe, tongue, and people group. Then he uses a woman who has lived her life in shame and guilt, making great effort to avoid interaction with people, to be the witness of Christ to the Samaritans. It's truly an amazing story of the power of a changed life.
So let me ask you:
Most importantly, has your life been changed by Christ?
If so, when is the last time you told someone about it?
Will you spend some time praying about and remembering your conversion experience, asking God who it is that you need to call or go see and share your story with? It is often helpful to spend some quiet time writing out your story of a changed life.
Finally, if I can help you write your story out or think through your life change experience, please let me know. I would love to have that conversation with you.
You can watch Sunday's sermon here, beginning at the 28:45 minute mark.
